The intent of this LEED credit is to encourage the development and use of grid-source, renewable energy technologies on a net zero pollution basis. Provide at least 35% of the building's electricity from renewable sources by engaging in at least a two-year renewable energy contract. Renewable sources are as defined by the Center for Resource Solutions (CRS) Green-e products certification requirements.
