Joyce asks: I recently graduated with an interior design degree. I am thinking to take LEED Green Associate. When i was in college, I took sustainable design class which was appeared in my transcript. Is this qualify for taking this test?

Answer: Hi Joyce, thanks for your email. The quick answer is that yes, it should be sufficient to qualify you to take the LEED Green Associate exam. I don't know when you graduated or when the class was, but believe that there is NO time horizon on taking this path to fulfilling the prerequisite requirement to take the LEED Green Associate exam. Unlike the LEED registered project experience requirement, which has a three year time limit, there is no time limit mentioned in the LEED Green Associate handbook.

As long as you can document that you took and completed this class (or are currently involved in it) that's acceptable to GBCI.

Good luck!
