Adam asks: Will any of your LEED green associate exam prep packages be sufficient for exam eligibility?

Answer: Hi Adam, thank you for your question. There are several products that will serve to provide you with the sufficient educational experience necessary to fulfill option three of the eligibility requirements of GBCI, "engagement in (or completion of) an education program that addresses green building principles". Of course, that's only one route for fulfilling the prerequisites to take the LEED Green Associate exam.

Education Experience:

Here are a list of five options, programs and descriptions for meeting the eligibility for the LEED Green Associate:

  • LEED Professional Project Experience Program:

    • With the launch of LEED v3 in 2009, work experience on a LEED Registered Project has become essential. While it is only one option for LEED Green Associate candidates, it is a requirement for those who would seek to earn their LEED AP. To address this need, GreenStep has developed a program to provide people who would not otherwise be able to do so, an opportunity to work on a LEED Registered Project and get the experience they need to qualify for the LEED Green Associate or LEED AP exams.

  • LEED Green Associate Platinum Pack:

    • This study bundle includes an 8-hour intensive online training course from LEED experts that is designed for professionals looking to learn about LEED and take the LEED Green Associate Exam.

    Online LEED Exam Prep Training Classes: Any of these online courses will not only provide you with the eligibility you need to take the LEED Green Associate exam, but also they will provide AIA continuing education credits. Certificates of Completion are included.

  • LEED Green Associate online study bundle:

    • A comprehensive online study bundle that contains 4 hours of online video training many additional helpful tools to prepare for passing the LEED Green Associate exam.

  • Intensive Two Day LEED Green Associate in class Training:

    • Two day in class training sessions offer a complete review of the LEED green building rating systems and the fundamental concepts you will need to understand to pass the LEED Green Associate exam. Classes include many extras such as practice tests and strategies for passing the exam.

  • Sustainable Field of Work:
