Malcolm asks: Does the LEED Professional Project Experience Program also qualify as continuing education for architects?
Hi Malcolm,
Thank you for your question. The GreenStep LEED® Professional Project Project Experience Program assignments completed during the program can count for ten(10) CEU hours (5 LEED Specific and 5 LEED non-specific).
Please see this page for more GBCI CMP options. If you are a blogger and a LEED AP or Green Associate, and/or if you like to write, you may earn up to 12 LEED CE Hours for authorship by submitting original articles on LEED and/or green building to our editors at Green-Buildings.com.
Articles that are accepted are posted along with the author's profile on our home page. Creating a profile and signing up is free.
Both the GreenStep program and authorship are excellent ways to maintain your credential and keep yourself sharp, because, in both cases, you are actively engaged in your activity. You learn by doing, as opposed to passively earning CE hours in a seminar, etc.
Thanks again for your interest.
