The Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) charges $220.00 per CIR .

Under the new CIR system, the project team will no longer be permitted to simply review the pre-June 26th, 2009 CIR database for past rulings or reference those decisions.

Each CIR must now be submitted to be considered with respect to the specific project it is tied to. Also, the result of the CIR will not be made public, unlike before when it this information was added to a central database that was accessible by anyone with access to LEED Online.
