Question:

Scott asks: Can you please let me know if we would be able to sign off for EPACT certification. The project is retrofitting T12 to T8 and changing from Magnetic to Electronic Ballast. There is also a ramp where we are changing 250 & 150 w HPS to 4 lamp t8s. Please let me know if you need any more info.

Hi Scott,

SourceCorp can most certainly look at it to see if it is a viable option for you. We would need to determine the lighting power density in comparison to the baseline of ASHRAE 90.1-2001 and look at the switching and controls.

If the ramp is outside the building it is outside the scope of the deduction criteria but the interior lighting could work out depending on the facts and circumstances.

Feel free to give us a call.

Hope this helps.
