Hi Bruce,
Thanks for your question.
Green Seal does not certify Janitorial Equipment. They certify construction materials, equipment and systems; household cleaning products; food preparation and food service packaging; floor finishes and strippers; hand soaps and hand cleaners; institutional and industrial cleaners; paper towels, napkins and tissue paper; and printing and writing paper and newsprint. Additionally they certify Commercial and Institutional Cleaning Services and Lodging Properties.
They are also testing a certification of product manufacturing companies. (Please visit the Greenseal website for a full listing of all of their certifications).
The Carpet and Rug Institute has their CRI Seal of Approval for Cleaning Solutions, Deep Cleaning Extractors and Systems, and Vacuums. Please visit their website for further information.
Hope this helps. I would also recommend reaching out to your Janitorial Distributor for assistance. They should be able to assess your needs and tailor a list of equipment and products that are Sustainable.

They certify all types of items as that want to contribute to a better indoor air environment, and many manufacturers of "green" items have their products certified there to further enhance their brand. Greengaurd has a searchable database by item type, so perhaps they might be of help.
