Chris asks: Where can I find (online) a sample of a correct way to fill out the Water Efficient Landscaping form for Commercial LEED? Received a comment back from a submission that the calculations were inconsistent with the standard irrigation coefficients with which I am familiar. Can anyone shed light on this. Appreciate it!
Hi Chris,
Check WE Credit 1 - Water Use Reduction in Commercial Interiors 2009 and you will find that irrigation is not included in the water efficiency calculations.
If you were thinking of New Construction (LEED-NC 2009), then follow WE Credit 1 - Water Efficient Landscaping (pages 179 through 191). It's not online, but there are sample calculations you can follow.
Good luck!
