Bonded Logic makes Ultratouch recycled denim blanket insulation, which is the one I read about most. It's made from 100% pre-consumer, post-industrial natural fibers (cotton fiber and denim) that the company acquires from clothing manufacturers (i.e. scraps). It's 100% safe (no warning labels!), easy to handle and recyclable whenever/if-ever it's removed. It's formaldehyde free and no mineral microfibers to cause respiratory problems. It's also excellent for sound dampening.

UltraTouch is treated with natural (boron based) fire retardant and is a Class-A Building material that meets or exceeds ASTM testing for both commercial and residential batt insulation. Products are available with up to R-30 quality batting for serious resistance so not only is it ultra efficient but, hey, it's got denim in it. And celebrities like Vince from Entourage use it.So it's cool.

I am not aware of other recycled denim insulations on the market...
