EcoBrokers are trained to be well-versed in energy efficiency and environmentally sensitive real estate design. Certified EcoBrokers may assist clients in their pursuit of properties that provide greater efficiency (operating affordability) and comfort. EcoBrokers may also inform their clients about the positive impacts to the environment that exist through sustainability, energy and electricity efficiency (reducing carbon footprints).

EcoBrokers are licensed real estate agents who must fulfill a straight-forward set of requirements including an energy, environmental, and marketing training program.
