Green Buildings Product Certification Review

What is a Green Buildings Certification Review?

A Green-Buildings.com Certification Review demonstrates that a product has been evaluated by an independent, third-party, LEED® accredited Green Building Professional and that the product may contribute to certification under green building rating systems, such as LEED®. Products with characteristics that are congruent with such rating systems and their methods will receive the Green-Buildings.com Certified Seal *.

How Does the Green Buildings Certification Review Work?

The goal of Green-Buildings.com Certification Review program is threefold: Articulate, Quantify, and Educate. Our team of accredited green building professionals will prepare a high-level report for your company that will:

  • Articulate how a product may have sustainable building applications and contribute toward earning points in green building rating systems, such as LEED.
  • Quantify the environmental and economic benefits of a green building product thru the use of third- party Lifecycle Cost Analysis (LCA), and the BEES Framework, developed by the NIST.
  • Educate potential product buyers by demonstrating that a product was successfully used in the field as demonstrated by an independent case study.
