Green-Buildings.com product certification process incorporates the Building for Environmental and Economic Sustainability (BEES) life-cycle assessment (LCA) tool, developed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). In addition, our team of accredited green building professionals employs an Holistic Evaluation Methodology to analyze high performance green building products and clarify their applicability for green building.

Green Buildings Reviewed TM serves as proof that a company's product has been reviewed by an accredited Green Building Professional and that the product may be used in pursuit of certified green building projects.

A Green Buildings Certified PLATINUM TM seal serves as proof that a company’s product has been evaluated by an accredited Green Building Professional, details specific green building credits, and provides a real-world case study of the product's use in a green building project.
