Tubular Skylight

A tubular skylight provides natural light to indoor spaces where it might not otherwise be possible to do so. Unlike conventional skylights, which are similar to a window, tubular skylights consist of three main components: a roof-mounted light collector, a highly-reflective tube to redirect the light from the roof to an interior space, and an interior fixture. The light collector is mounted on the roof and typically consists of a parabolic lens (to allow for light collection throughout the day as the sun moves through the sky) set into a frame. Sunlight is then reflected through the tube to the interior fixture with diffuser lens.
