Anastasia Harrison

About Anastasia Harrison, LEED AP BD+C

Anastasia is a registered architect and LEED accredited professional, she is currently the Director of Sustainability at Gannett Fleming, an award-winning, full service architecture engineering, construction and construction management firm with more than 95 years of experience. Anastasia is located in the South Plainfield NJ office and currently travels across the country working on LEED projects for the firm. She has managed more than a dozen LEED certified projects including several in the transportation industry. Anastasia’s passion for creating sustainable environments crosses all market types from single family homes to multiuse facilities. She has an in-depth working knowledge of the LEED rating systems, and as such, she was elected as Chair for the Board of Directors of the USGBC NJ chapter.
Working in a dual role at Gannett Fleming she is part of a corporate sustainability team developing in internal corporate sustainability program and annual reporting metrics. As part of that team she is leading the effort of LEED-EB renovation and upgrades for Gannett Fleming’s Headquarters East Building in Harrisburg PA.

As a member or the Executive Board of the USGBC-NJ she is liaison to the board for the speaker’s bureau, an active member of the education committee and manages more than 200 annual speaking and exhibiting events. Anastasia is frequently requested as a speaker at conferences for such organizations as IAQA, USGBC, Annual Green Building Summit, and IBTTA. She has spoken and taught numerous groups on the LEED process, LEED course training, sustainable design; healthy living, energy efficiency and has been quoted in many publications including the New York Times, Star Ledger, Green Living, Design NJ, Womens Day, regarding the challenges of green building design and corporate sustainability.
