Braden Kurczak is the Head of Enermodal’s Green Division, the group responsible for the company’s LEED work. He has a background in mechanical engineering and commerce. His expertise includes sustainable and energy efficient design consulting using the LEED rating system.

As Canada’s foremost LEED® consulting firm, Enermodal has been intimately involved in the development and acceptance of the LEED green building rating system in Canada. This includes being an integral member of the Canada Green Building Council, organizing the Canadian update and adoption of the LEED NC v1 and LEED Canada NC 2009 rating systems, various application guides, and having multiple staff members serve as members or chairs of the Technical Advisory Groups. This first-hand knowledge of LEED is an important contributor to Enermodal’s record-breaking 250 LEED projects across North America and completion of nearly 40% of all LEED Canada certified buildings.

Enermodal designed its new headquarters, A Grander View, to achieve three LEED Platinum certifications and be Canada’s most energy-efficient office (currently achieving 69ekWh/m2).
