About Heather Young, LEED Green Associate

I grew up in Vermont and have had the opportunity to travel the country and parts of the world since I graduated high school. I have studied architectural engineering at several schools around the world. This has introduced me to several different areas of engineering and design that are often overlooked by only studying in one location (i.e. coastal engineering). Since I started my degree I have had jobs/internships ranging from project manager to project engineer to estimator to interior design assistant to leading a design team for Engineers Without Borders. I have also most recently co-owned and run a successful architectural and landscape design business. I am currently pursuing my engineering license. I have had the opportunity to use the engineering skills and design skills I have acquired through my education and professional experience to augment my work as a project engineer through connecting on both the design level and the constru ction level of the project.
