I bought my first house as a single woman when I was 25 years old, after many people warned me that I’d never find anything I could afford in Berkeley in a neighborhood I would live in. Perseverance and determination kept me looking at every listing and open house until I found a darling cottage behind a house that had recently been condo-converted. I added a few things to that cottage and sold it three years later for twice what I had paid for it.
Fast forward many years later and I began buying and selling homes for a living, now using all sustainable materials to create beautiful, healthy homes. I became a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accredited professional in June, 2009. I am passionate about helping people to navigate the world of green building.
